   The RealReal tightens bot defenses to block AI shopping agents

   The RealReal updated its bot defense configuration after a report showed AI agents could exploit its 20-minute cart hold to block purchases. The company says agents can still surface listings but will find it much harder to log in, add items to cart, and check out.
