About

We plough through the news so you get the harvest.

Uzha (உழ, said oo-zha) is Tamil for “to plough”, from uzhavu, cultivation, the subject of a whole chapter of the Thirukkural. That's our job: turn over a huge field of AI and tech news every day so you get what's worth your time.

How it works

  • We read hundreds of sources: company and lab blogs, international and Indian tech press, and developer communities.
  • Articles about the same event are grouped into one story, so you read it once with every source listed.
  • AI writes a short summary and a “why it matters” line for your role. Every point links to the source that supports it.
  • Each morning you get a brief with a beginning and an end: about eight stories, about five minutes.

What we promise

  • Sources first. Summaries can be wrong, so you can always check the original in one tap.
  • People check articles. Every article, including AI-assisted drafts, is reviewed by an editor before it's published, and AI help is labelled.
  • No noise. No autoplay video, no ads between stories. At most one clearly labelled sponsor per brief.
  • Made for India. Indian companies and policy are covered properly, and briefs in Tamil and Hindi are coming.

For publishers

Uzha reads the RSS or Atom feeds publishers provide for syndication. To write an accurate summary it may also download an article page once, as UzhaBot, and it obeys your robots.txt: if you disallow UzhaBot (or all bots), we use only what your feed offers. We show readers a headline, a short summary in our own words and a prominent link to your article. We never republish full articles or get around paywalls.

To be removed or to change how you're listed, email app.notify.hub@gmail.com from your domain. We act within two working days.
