Your data, plainly.

This page explains what Uzha collects, why, who it's shared with, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address and profile picture from Google or GitHub when you sign in. We never see or store your password.
- Your choices: your role, language, brief time, what you follow or mute, and your email and Telegram settings.
- Your activity on Uzha: stories you mark as read (for your streak), questions you ask, articles you write, and tool reviews you post.
- Basic technical data: your IP address and browser type, kept with your sign-in session for security.
Why we use it
- To run your personal brief, streak, follows and Ask.
- To send the emails or Telegram messages you turned on, and nothing else.
- To keep Uzha secure and stop spam and abuse.
We don't sell your data, and we don't use advertising trackers.
Who we share it with
- Hosting and database providers, which store Uzha's data on our behalf.
- AI providers (such as Google Gemini or Microsoft Azure OpenAI). Questions you ask in Ask, and articles you submit for review, are sent to them to generate answers and checks. Don't include personal details in questions.
- Our email provider and Telegram, only if you turn those deliveries on.
- Authorities, only when Indian law requires it.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser stores your light or dark theme. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. To see which pages are useful, we count page views per day, with the referring website and whether it was a phone or a computer. These counts use no cookies and store no IP address or anything that identifies you, and we skip them when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or erase it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email app.notify.hub@gmail.com from the address on your account and we'll respond within 30 days. You can turn off emails and Telegram messages yourself in settings at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we erase your personal data within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep.
Children
Uzha is meant for people aged 18 and over. If you're younger, please use it only with a parent's or guardian's consent.
Grievances
For any concern about your data, write to our grievance contact at app.notify.hub@gmail.com. If you're not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
