   Lawmakers ask FAA to pause AI tool used in DC-area flight management

   More than two dozen U.S. lawmakers asked the Federal Aviation Administration to pause use of a new AI-based tool that assists air traffic controllers in the Washington area, citing safety concerns. The lawmakers said they have not seen safety evaluations or training for personnel and requested answers by Oct. 19.
