   Redwood and Rivian expand EV battery recycling partnership

   Redwood Materials and Rivian are expanding their existing partnership to add battery material recycling at Rivian’s Normal, Illinois factory and potentially other Rivian sites. The deal covers collecting, sorting, repurposing retired packs for stationary storage and recycling up to about 99% of critical materials like nickel, cobalt, copper and lithium.
