A June 24 press release from NovaRed (now NRED Intelligent Mining) said Katie Zacharia had joined its advisory board to advise on exploration and “emerging artificial intelligence initiatives.” Zacharia later told WIRED the advisory claim was “fake” and directed questions to a marketing consultant, while the company lists former DHS secretary Kristi Noem as a strategic advisor.
