   Microsoft explains how admins can re-enable retired EWS in Exchange Online

   Microsoft says tenant admins can temporarily re-enable the retired Exchange Web Services (EWS) API in Exchange Online to fix apps that stop working after EWS is disabled. The company notes re-enabling will work until the final shutdown on April 1, 2027, and gives steps via the Microsoft 365 admin center or Exchange Online PowerShell.
