- 8 OctMath group urges researchers to reject OpenAI’s mass release of papers
The Association for Human Mathematics (AHM) criticised OpenAI after the company published 722 manuscripts claiming solutions or progress on hundreds of mathematical and theoretical computer science problems. OpenAI posted the work on GitHub and said it is consulting an Advisory Group on Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence (AGMAI) at the Institute for Advanced Study to develop release practices.
