   Sam Altman’s World expands iris-based World ID to verify AI agents

   World, the biometric startup co‑founded by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, is expanding its Orb iris‑scanning World ID service to partners including Zoom and major financial firms. The company said World ID for Agents will let banks and organisations identify AI agents using cryptographic Proofs tied to Orb‑verified users.
