Intel SDM lists vfmaddrnd231pd instruction but toolchains and assemblers lack support
The Intel Software Development Manual documents an instruction called VFMADDRND231PD that provides per-instruction rounding control for fused multiply-add on packed doubles. Community investigation notes GNU assembler and common compilers don’t recognize the instruction and the SDM uses a mysterious 'DDS' opcode field that appears only in that document version.
