   FTC orders airlines, retailers and gig firms to disclose data use in pricing

   The U.S. Federal Trade Commission has issued orders to Delta, Walmart and other companies to provide detailed information on how they use consumer and worker personal data to set prices and compensation. The agency said it will scrutinize whether pricing or worker pay varies by personal data or loyalty program participation and could seek court enforcement if companies do not comply.
