   Cabinet approves ₹10,000 Cr SME Growth Fund to back manufacturing and tech SMEs

   The Union Cabinet has approved a ₹10,000 crore SME Growth Fund (SGF) to provide growth capital to small and medium enterprises, with a majority allocation toward manufacturing-focused firms. The government will commit the amount to alternative investment funds (AIFs) that will invest directly in high-potential SMEs to help them scale, adopt technology and enter global markets.
