   Toyota will build an all‑new Corolla EV in China starting 2028

   Toyota plans to produce a next‑generation Corolla with electric, hybrid and gas powertrains in China from 2028. Production will take place at its FAW Toyota Motor joint venture and the car will use a new multipathway platform.
