   Army Cyber Command developing autonomous, self-spreading AI attack platform ECHOTRIBBLE

   Internal documents obtained by The Intercept say Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER) is developing a program codenamed ECHOTRIBBLE to autonomously navigate networks and 'identify and neutralize' targets. The platform is described as agent-like software that would move like a worm across cloud and air-gapped systems, operate with minimal human oversight, and self-destruct after completing tasks.
