A security researcher this week reported unpatched vulnerabilities in Tailscale SSH that can allow a compromised device on the same Tailscale network to gain root access on other reachable servers. The attack requires Tailscale SSH be configured to allow port forwarding and an attacker-controlled device that access rules permit to connect to the target.
