   Paper proposes 'Speed of Coherent Cognition' benchmark for reliable AI

   A new arXiv paper defines the Speed of Coherent Cognition (S_C^eff) to measure how fast reality can change before an AI stops acting reliably. The authors evaluate reinforcement‑learning agents up to 50× faster environments and report that a biologically inspired architecture called Co^4 outperforms Transformer and gated‑MLP baselines on this metric.
