   Anthropic's Claude autonomously generates formal proofs for existing code

   Anthropic's Frontier Red Team, with partner Theorem, used Claude to translate crash tests and compiled machine code into mathematical proofs that verify existing software. The system produced roughly 180 million lines of proof across programs from 123 OSS-Fuzz libraries and used an independent verifier called Rocq to check results, catching hundreds of bugs and allowing some automatic fixes.
