   Qubic halts mainnet after attacker drains 1,400 wallets

   Qubic stopped its layer‑1 blockchain after attackers exploited weak wallet recovery seed generation and stole about 2.94 quadrillion QU tokens (roughly $1.4 million). The project says 87.1% of the stolen tokens remain on the network while some funds were sent to MEXC, which blocked the receiving account.
