   Anthropic expands security access to Claude with reduced safety filters

   Anthropic has opened its Cyber Verification Program to a much wider group of vetted security researchers and organizations, giving them access to Claude models with fewer safety restrictions for defensive work. The program uses three access tiers and includes a specialized tier that Anthropic vets with the US government for testing critical systems.

   Anthropic expands program letting security teams test powerful AI models

   Anthropic has combined and expanded programs to let vetted cybersecurity teams test its most capable models with reduced safeguards, announcing the revamped Cyber Verification Program (CVP) on Tuesday. Its Project Glasswing partners and Anthropic's own scans uncovered more than 134,000 software vulnerabilities this year, with over 33,000 rated critical or high severity.
