   Burger King Japan breach exposed 11.18 million app user records

   Burger King Japan disclosed that attackers accessed a server holding 11.18 million customer records from its official smartphone app in early October 2026. The company says payment card numbers and user credentials were not stored on the compromised server and it reported the incident to Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission.
