   AWS Bedrock offers cross-Region access to OpenAI GPT models from Canada

   Amazon Bedrock now supports cross-Region inference so Canadian customers can call OpenAI GPT-5.6, GPT-6, and GPT-6.1 models from the Canada (Central) and Canada West (Calgary) Regions. Requests from the source Region are routed to supported destination Regions for processing, providing access to larger capacity and data-residency controls.
