   US regulators allow crypto exchanges to pass interest-like rewards to customers

   Federal banking regulators said exchanges can continue to pass along earnings from assets backing stablecoins to customers as interest-like rewards. The guidance, published by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, implements parts of the GENIUS Act and leaves stablecoin issuers barred from directly paying interest.
