   Microsoft fixes Android Authenticator flaw that exposed work account tokens

   Microsoft patched an Android Authenticator vulnerability (CVE-2026-80097) that allowed a permissionless app to pose as a trusted Microsoft app and collect work account sign-in tokens. The bug was fixed in Authenticator version 6.2606.4246; Microsoft says exploitation also requires the victim to complete a sign-in step and that the flaw has not been observed in real-world attacks.
