   Study: Google’s InFlow AI boosts junior patent drafting but may weaken review skills

   A Google-funded study gave two-thirds of junior patent attorneys access to an unreleased assistant called InFlow and found clear improvements in AI-assisted patent drafting across multiple quality dimensions. However, when attorneys later reviewed drafts without AI, the study detected weaker internalized judgment, suggesting gains did not fully translate to unaided review skills.
