   Volkswagen tells ID.4 owners to cap charging at 80% as part of recall

   Volkswagen has asked certain ID.4 owners to limit charging to 80% until a fix is available and will remotely apply that setting unless owners opt out. The request follows a recall affecting 22,524 ID.4 SUVs after concerns that charging above 80% in some profiles may trigger battery thermal propagation.
