   LatentQuant preserves VAE policy latents under NVFP4 quantization

   Researchers introduce LatentQuant, a two-stage quantization-aware training (QAT) method that preserves the policy-facing latent contract when applying NVFP4 quantization to pretrained video VAEs. LatentQuant recovers reconstruction quality and control performance across Wan2.1 and Wan2.2, while NVFP4 offers measurable GPU speedups on NVIDIA B300 hardware.
