   Tesla drove into CHP patrol car while driver says he was asleep with FSD engaged

   A Tesla struck a California Highway Patrol patrol car at an earlier crash scene on I‑80 in Fairfield after reportedly driving through lane closures; two officers were seriously injured and the Tesla driver had minor injuries. The driver told investigators he was asleep with Tesla’s Full Self-Driving engaged and CHP released dashcam video of the impact; the incident is under investigation.
