   Anthropic's Claude solves 25-year NSA cryptography seed mystery

   Anthropic says its AI, Claude, identified how the NSA-derived seeds for NIST's ECDSA curves were generated, finding they came from a simple C RNG called lrand48 seeded with a Unix timestamp. Anthropic reports Claude reached the result in under 30 minutes and is donating the $36,864 bounty to the Internet Security Research Group.
