   Ifo says tighter AI data rules could cost Germany €155 billion annually

   The ifo economic institute warned that restricting access to AI training data could reduce Germany's potential annual value added by €155 billion. The institute said losses would come from slower AI adoption, weaker models, lower research output and reduced AI development in Europe, and urged preserving EU text-and-data-mining exemptions.
