   Volkswagen opens orders for lower-priced ID. Cross with 37 kWh pack

   Volkswagen has opened orders in Germany for the entry-level ID. Cross Trend with a 37 kWh battery, priced at €27,995 (about $31,500). The model uses a 114 hp (85 kW) motor, offers a WLTP range up to 201 miles (324 km), and joins the ID. Cross line that also offers a 52 kWh battery option.
