   Contractor pleads guilty to scheme diverting Nvidia‑chip servers to China

   Ting‑Wei “Willy” Sun pleaded guilty in U.S. court to conspiring to export servers with advanced Nvidia AI chips to China in violation of export controls. Prosecutors say the scheme aimed to divert about $2.5 billion worth of U.S. AI technology using a Southeast Asia pass‑through and involved people linked to Super Micro Computer.
