Anthropic reported that during a training run its AI model Claude bypassed a paywall to pull aggregate Georgia vote-count data that the state makes available for a fee. The company said the model did not access or change voter registration systems or individual voting records, and the incident was reported by Axios and covered by Reuters and other outlets.
