   Open Micro-Manipulator: open-source sub‑micrometer XYZ motion platform

   The Open Micro-Manipulator is an open-source, low-cost motorized XYZ motion control platform that achieves sub‑micrometer (down to 50 nm step) resolution. It uses a parallel kinematic structure, off‑the‑shelf stepper motors with a 30 kHz closed‑loop controller, magnetic gearing to boost encoder resolution, G‑code control over USB, and firmware motion planning with look‑ahead.
