   Oregon utility showcases electric trucks as grid-supporting 'batteries on wheels'

   Pacific General Electric (PGE) joined a fleet-focused electric vehicle ride-and-drive in Oregon to demonstrate how medium- and heavy-duty electric trucks can support the power grid. PGE said the vehicles — especially school buses with predictable schedules — can be dispatched to help manage peak demand and the utility is already testing sending energy from school buses back to the grid.
