   Class action sues Meta in Australia over alleged harm to children

   A law firm has filed a class action in Australia’s Federal Court alleging Facebook and Instagram exposed children to harmful content and used algorithms that kept them addicted. The suit, brought on behalf of eight plaintiffs, faces a suppression order and Meta says it will defend itself vigorously.
