   Mathematicians question OpenAI’s claimed Lean proof of Navier–Stokes

   OpenAI released a 166‑page potential solution to the Navier–Stokes problem written in the Lean proof assistant, but several mathematicians say the work does not follow the approach OpenAI claimed and appears superficially similar to prior work. The Clay Mathematics Institute is reviewing the submission, and the company later published about 400 additional results on GitHub that angered parts of the math community.
