   Ransomware groups exploit Palo Alto flaw to bypass MFA, firm says

   Palo Alto Networks said it continues to observe exploitation of CVE-2026-0257, an authentication bypass affecting PAN-OS and Prisma Access that can let attackers set up unauthorized VPN connections. The vulnerability (CVSS 7.8) was patched in May 2026, but actors including Qilin and INC have exploited it to bypass multi-factor authentication.
