Meta says it removed 5.3M pieces of CSAM in India in H1 2026
Meta reported it actioned 5.3 million pieces of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on Facebook and Instagram in India during January–June 2026, and said over 98% was found and addressed proactively. The company says it has deployed LLM-driven detection, AI ad sweeps, upgraded ad review frameworks, and red‑teaming AI agents as part of its efforts and will share reports with Indian authorities.
