   Tech worker recounts sudden layoff on August 18 and post-illness struggles

   A tech employee says they were called into a 1:1 on the morning of August 18 and informed they were being let go as part of a company restructuring. After the layoff they became sick, which they believe was Covid and say triggered an autoimmune flare that left them exhausted for weeks.
