   Study finds Grok and GPT APIs show opposite partisan preferences in midterm choices

   A Convovo study queried Grok 4.7 and OpenAI’s GPT-6.1 Sol via APIs across nearly 500 midterm races and found Grok chose Republicans 92% of the time while GPT-6.1 Sol chose Democrats 97% of the time. The consumer chatbot apps refused to answer the direct voting question, highlighting differences between API model behavior and app behavior.
