   Hackers hijack Convertr analytics script to skim payment cards

   A criminal group modified a Plausible analytics tracker hosted by Brazilian e‑commerce platform Convertr to steal shoppers' payment card data at checkout. Security firm Sansec reported the campaign on October 24 and ties it to a gang active since at least July 2024 that targets Magento, OpenCart and WooCommerce stores.
