   Anthropic’s Claude autonomously designs protein binders against scorpion toxins

   Anthropic’s Claude generated over 318,000 protein binder designs targeting five scorpion neurotoxins and the team tested 211 candidates in the lab. Seventeen designs met binder criteria, with two showing very strong binding to the Cn2 toxin, though antivenom efficacy has not been tested yet.
