   Capcom confirms data breach affecting 11.7 million CAPCOM ID accounts

   Capcom said hackers accessed its CAPCOM ID membership service and exposed more than 11.7 million customer email addresses and related account information. The company detected unauthorized access on October 19, reset some compromised passwords, and reported the incident to police and regulators.
