   California orders halt to robot-vs-human fight after September match

   The California State Athletic Commission sent a cease-and-desist to Rek after a September 18 match pitting a human against a humanoid robot. Rek's CEO posted the letter on September 30 and the company plans a follow-up fight between two armed robots.
