   Attackers chain Plex2Shell flaws to deploy crypto miners and Linux backdoor

   Threat actors are exploiting a chain of four vulnerabilities in Plex Media Server, dubbed Plex2Shell, to install cryptocurrency miners and a Linux reverse-proxy backdoor. The active exploitation began about a day after a public proof-of-concept was released, according to a researcher using the alias boredhackerblog.
