   Fuel cells rise as on-site power for US AI data centers

   Fuel cells are seeing growing demand from US hyperscalers building AI data centers because grid connections can take years and sites need reliable, fast power. Energy researcher Rystad Energy forecasts fuel-cell investments rising from $2.8 billion in 2025 to about $30 billion by 2030, and companies like Bloom Energy report rapid project delivery with customers such as Oracle.
