   LEAPTING unveils battery-powered autonomous forklift for solar projects

   Chinese PV equipment maker LEAPTING revealed an Auto-Navigation Forklift Robot (AFR) at a solar technology conference in Dubai. The tracked, battery-powered forklift uses GPS-RTK, SLAM, 3D vision and LiDAR to move solar module pallets autonomously and is rated for about eight hours of continuous operation.
