   Former pentester used ARTEX AI in campaign that stole 8.2 million records

   South Korean police say a seven-person gang led by a former penetration tester used the ARTEX AI pentesting framework to breach over 90 organizations and steal about 8.2 million records. Authorities arrested the suspects in October 2026 and say the group demanded ransoms in multiple incidents.
