   Australia introduces Digital Duty of Care bill to curb big tech access to kids

   Australia has formally introduced a 'Digital Duty of Care' bill requiring platforms to give users the choice to opt out of algorithmic feeds and to protect under-18s from harmful content. Communications Minister Anika Wells said the law will hold tech firms responsible for risks their products create and limit 'unfettered' access to children.
