   BMW iX5 hits up to 464 kW in public fast‑charging demo

   At an international media event in Southern California, BMW demonstrated its new iX5 reaching a peak of 464 kW on DC fast charging. BMW says the Gen6 eDrive with 800V architecture and new cylindrical cells enables up to 460 kW peak charging and faster range gains than the previous generation.
